1. Book clubs have begun! Read atyour group’s assigned reading for the weekend, truly immersing yourself in the book. Take notes about the characters and the setting- where, when, and the feeling of the time. Be sure to think deeply about your reading, and stop to jot down your thoughts while you read. Come prepared to talk!
2. Math- Practice your x facts.
OPTIONAL: Create and solve 2-3 Order of Operations challenges of your own.
3. Box Tops can come in anytime.

1. Read at least 40 minutes. Write down the total time you spent reading, and bring it in tomorrow. Be sure to think deeply about your reading, and stop to jot down your thoughts while you read.
2. Writing- Complete Mr. D’s assignment to write 2 or 4 compare/contrast paragraphs for your essay by Friday. Follow the handout he gave us, and use whichever strategy works best for you to organize and explain your ideas well.
3. Math- Topic 8 Test is tomorrow- follow your study schedule, and bring in your work on Friday for extra credit! Also, practice your x facts.
OPTIONAL: Create and solve 2-3 Order of Operations challenges of your own.

2. For the second night: Follow the directions on the green sheet to write a paragraph extending our thoughts while reading your just right book tonight. Try to see through the eyes of the character in your book in order to understand him or her more. Write your envisioning in your orange reader’s notebook.
